Smack Madness 3
This last poster is a spoof of the 1979 film “The Warriors” (Which Tony Scott apparently just remade.). The original “Warriors” tells the tale of rival gangs in New York city. 60,000 young punks in all, and only 20,000 police officers. The various gangs are so wonderfully over-the-top (Baseball players? Guys on roller skates? Shiny disco jackets? Mimes?), straight out of some paranoid parent’s fantasy. How could I not think of this film when thinking of Katherine Kersten?
Note: the guy on the bed is a flat-out rip off from Daniel Clowes’ “Eightball.”

I am not sure you are taking seriously the very real danger posed by these youth running amok in our community. There is no safety anymore in our community now that our young people are all dope fiends. Please reconsider making light of such a serious topic.

As a recovering drug addict, I am shocked that you would take my plight, and the plight of other drug addled family relations like this “Sarah” person, so lightly. Instead you would be best advised to spend more time cowering in dark corners, praying for a quick death. I know I do.
