Comcast and Crying Eagles

Comcast is notoriously shitty with customer service, thanks particularly to this video, posted on YouTube in June 2006, of a Comcast technician falling asleep on the customer’s couch…while on hold on the phone…with Comcast.

Now Comcast is trying step up to the plate by using Twitter. (Which is ironic, given that one of the primary reasons for contacting Comcast is that the internet’s not working.)

Fortunately for Ian, the internet was not actually broken. He called Comcast and a friendly lady told him which buttons to push and everything was fine.

In other news, I hope you celebrated America Day by remembering this and then watching some of this. We could just call it Brad Neely Day instead, if you want.

Oh, and here’s what patriotism looks like, in case you forgot.
