Does This Clarify Things?
My Life in People: Almost as much fun as the Family Circus! Or Candy Land maybe.
The original for this is a whole 14×17 inches. It was a lot of fun to make; I encourage those of you with time on your hands to make a Board-Game-of-Life of your very own, adding people/events/obstacles as you see fit. If anyone actually makes one, post a link in the comments or something.
I am so compelled to (attempt to) organize life into little boxes. I suppose it makes me feel like everything has order, and therefore purpose, and therefore narrative, like a Hollywood movie. I want RESOLUTION, damnit. But I keep going to different places and meeting new people, and dang it gets complicated. I want the little old man from the first act to come back at the end and tie everything together, and the audience can go “ohhhhh, ah HA!”
Best I can hope for is some cheesy last minute Deus Ex Machina type to wrap it all up. Somehow that’s not as satisfying.
But it’s better than getting hit by a bus!
PS I like symbols.
PPS The German flag is because I may be going to Germany for the spring semester of the coming school year. If I don’t, this map thing will be hopelessly misinformed and I’ll just have to burn it. (The MAP not the FLAG. No flag burnin’, boys.)

I’m glad you’ve finally embraced the beauty of “The Family Circus.” Can you draw one of those maps where you go get something and we see the dotted line of your path?

Sam had a ponytail in high school, Athena. This inaccuracy is unforgivable.
But otherwise I think this is nifty Keane, as in Bil. Why only one L, Bil?
I also like that you are depicted as some kind of Spartan warrior…I’d like to see more of that.

Hahaha, but of course I’m an ATHENIAN warrior. If there’s one thing Midboe’s history class taught me, it’s that the Spartans were dumb jocks, and the Athenian’s were fucking brilliant.
(But of course I already knew that.)
What did your Sandbo teach you, hmm???
