SPX 2008

Yessir, that was a lot of driving.

Fortunately also a lot of incredible cartoonists!  I feel lucky: fans of other mediums have no equivalent to the comic book convention.  That is, movie buffs cannot pay fifteen dollars to wander a room filled with movie stars.  (Let alone movie stars who are there solely to hang out, chat, and sell tiny booklets with illustrations of their private lives.)

Today’s comics are a nod to the great Mr. James Kochalka Superstar (duh).  I currently have three beautiful books of his sitting in my room.  Shortly they will be traveling to the Hampshire College library to be read and appreciated by all.

Mr. Kochalka lives in Vermont, and was wearing red pants when we met him.
