TGIfuckingF.

It’s been a long week, but a good one.  Tonight we celebrate with a (free!) Local Foods Feast.

The above image is from the cover of a mini comic I made this fall (my first ever).  It’s 16 pages long, 4.25 x 5.5 inches in size.  The illustrations were done with dip ink; the lettering was done with a regular pen.  The subject is: what happens to ladies when they get past their sexy years, and become simply (ugh) old women?  It is satire obviously, but like all satire, based on certain truths.  I handed this comic out for free at the Small Press Expo, and even dared give a copy to Art Spiegelman when he signed my copy of his new book.  It’s really not a grand enough minicomic to merit such shameless self-promotion, but it’s what I have.
