The Truth About Cats And Babies
The 1996 movie I am referring to in the title features both Janeane Garofalo and Uma Thurman. Just saying.
The other night I had a dream about cats. Specifically, a bunch of cats I was taking care of while their owner was away. The owner wanted me to keep them all in a big wooden chest the whole time (a chest that looked suspiciously like the one in my room in Berlin). I felt uneasy about this, but was also afraid that I’d get way allergic if I let them run rampant through the house.
Sierra came by to see the cats, before the two of us headed out to a party. Oh the bus ride there, however, I discovered that she’d smuggled one of the cats along under her sweater. It was a big, fat gray tabby cat. “ I just wanted him to get out a little!” Sierra insisted. The cat began to chat with us, and I was briefly surprised by his talking, until he explained that cats had always been able to talk, and had just chosen not to.

Tabitha: Thanks, I’m glad to have your support. I guess the fact that more and more people I went to school with are actually HAVING babies is making the reality of it seem a lot less appealing.

Haha, I would do that. I took a cat nap with a cat today on the farm… and I’m about to take another one. I wish I had come here instead of Berlin. I also wish cats could actually talk. Apparently, so does your subconscious.
