CRAZY DAZE
The Kearneys are coming, the Kearneys are coming!
Every year my three cousins (The Kearneys) and their mother (my mom’s younger sister) drive down from Edina to sleep over at our house on Wednesday so that we can get up at the ABSOLUTE CRACK OF DAWN on Thursday and head downtown for the plethora of Division Street bargains known as Crazy Day. Or Crazy Daze? I’m never quite sure.
There will be Alaskan donuts at the Quality Bakery, grab bags at Rare Pair, extremely cheap clothes at Ragstock, weird Northfield-related items at the Historical Society and many, many other things to make waking up at 6:30 WELL WORTH IT.
Oh Hey: That jam comic I did with the Minneapolis Cartoonist Conspiracy a few weeks ago? It is indeed online. I’ve got panels on pages 1, 2, 11, 12, and 19. But the last page, the signature page, is always my favorite part.
Oh Hey Again: Do you all know about Troll 2? They just made a documentary about it called “The Best Worst Movie,” and it looks pretty amazing.
