It Was Crazy
It is a beautiful framed horse poster/religious inspirational quote/clock.
I, however, am a good deal less than beautiful today. I haven’t been this antisocial for at least a whole year. Or more! It is probably because I am an unemployed bum with nothing better to do than conjure up paranoid theories.
Oh, and people suck.
EDIT: Rich, pretentious, elitist people in undeserved positions of power suck.
Q: Do…do I suck?
A: At least a little bit.

Don’t worry, Athena, everyone deserves days off from having to talk to people.

so the summer day camp in Mattapan where I spend my days is in a church building. On the wall of the class room where my group three (The Wolverine Obama All Stars!!) and I spend a good deal of our time there is a poster.
it is a picture of a rhino.
above the rhino it says: “Jesus kept going for you and me”
and below, in the same size orange font, it says: “rhinoceros”
that is what i thought of when i read this comic. Also I loved your letter and will reply as soon as i stop falling asleep at 8:30 due to the fact that elementary schoolers are awesome and also exhausting. i will probably write about power and being anti-social so it is good to know that we are on the same page about life struggles.

Hey, I called you twice today! You can’t suck THAT much…or I else I DOUBLE SUCK. Mysteries!
also, at first glance your question looks like “do [backslash] suck?”

I do appreciate when inspiration messages also provide me with the time (always an eye for practicality), but I feel like Kate’s rhinoceros poster wins the day.

Evan: Thank you!
*kate: I look forward to your next letter! And your rhino so completely trumps the horse. Who would make that poster? What are they trying to say about the relationship between God and that particular (hideous, terrifying) animal??
Goldfeather: Naw, I was actually feeling bad about being so voluntarily antisocial. I appreciate your (years of) efforts to pull me out of my cave.
