Div III OMG
What’s cool is that I actually DON’T feel paralyzed about my Div III now! My final Div II meeting went really, really well. I am blushing just thinking about it. This gave me a new burst of confidence and excitement, and I think I’ve figured out the final piece of structure and outline that my Div III idea needed. I will probably elaborate further at some point, but for now, rest assured that it’s a Cool Idea.
PS The imaginary friend with whom I am conversing in this comic is, I suppose, a consolidation of Kate + Tabitha + Lizz + Hannah + Goldfeather + Phoebe. That is, ladies I love, who are good at talking me through stress.

I’m glad you have a Cool Idea.
And I really like the background sketch in this comic.

I am AFRAID of the fact that everyone who I have asked to be my committee member says they are TOO BUSY. I did however have my first moment in which I got legitimately distracted from my class work by things directly related to my Div III (http://freerangekids.wordpress.com/2009/10/01/mom-forced-off-bus-for-crying-toddler/).
More importantly though, Div III does not equal a year. October, November, December (but come on, Christmas?), January, Feb, March, April. Count them. 7 months if you’re somehow productive over break. It’s more like half a year. And you can break down what you’re doing. Today, I decided that the next sewing projects I have will relate to my Div III (more on that later), and if I can think that, why not think that your comics can work in. But yes, we should talk soon, because golly gee, you’re good for talking to too.

Are you implying that I am not a lady you love?

I pretty much worked on my Div 3 from mid-February to early-May. That was like… 2 and a half months.

Dylan: No. I am implying that you are a shitty friend.
Doyle: Yours is a success story that gives hope to us all.

Don’t worry Currier–this is less than a baby’s time.

Thank godddd. The fall-back plan was to just get pregnant in early September, and present the baby as the product of my Div III. Labor would double as a performance piece.
