Tireless Toil

Actually, this is not at all representative of my average week.

For starters, this weekend I got wicked drunk on Friday, not Saturday. Which ended up being an alarmingly stupid decision, but the weekend still turned out all right in the end. On Saturday, I played a few guitar tunes during Mod 83’s Casual Gathering. And my pal Ciernia dropped by with his friend Matt. Both are spending the year in an Americorp program up in a remote Northwest corner of Massachusetts. Mixing old and new friends is interesting.

But as far as my typical week: lately, it seems to be PILES and PILES of reading, followed by PILES and PILES of making comics. It is enjoyable, no doubt. I just wish that, after seven or so hours of work, the piles looked a little smaller. But it seems like I never make a dent!

Oh well. Somehow I found time to make a big ol’ letter for Phoebe. Therefore: I win at life.

I like the mixture of finger and facial expression in the committee meeting panel.

  2. Phoebe Says:

I look forward to reading this big ol’ letter of yours!

Goldfeather: Yeahhh, at first I was going for me nervously holding my hands to my face, but now I think it looks more like the hands of my committee members are reaching out to poke me.

Phoebe: Hurray! It’s on it’s way!
