Okay, so I watched a LOT of Infomania last semester. In that time I’ve grown pretty attached to the show’s five correspondents.  I love them all, but I think I like Ben Hoffman the best. Maybe because he’s got a Southern accent? Maybe because I don’t know whether he went to an Ivy? (Conor Knighton went to Yale, Sarah Haskins went to Harvard, and Brett Erlich went to Stanford. I’m not sure where Hoffman went. Or Sergio Cilli and Bryan Safi either.) Maybe it’s the dorky baseball cap?

No. No no no. It is the on-the-scene interviews. It is because, in addition to doing hilarious in-the-office segments about posts on Craigslist and outrage over the new facebook, Ben is the one who gets sent out of the studio to attend things like a Single Cougar Convention, the Fox Reality TV Awards, and most recently, the set of a porno. This was for a segment about 3-D porn (oh James Cameron, what have you wrought). Hoffman interviewed two female pornstars between takes, and also visited a porn convention. It’s pretty fuckin great.
