Four Years
When I first arrived at Hampshire, I brought with me four large suitcases (well, one was a giant diaper bag my mom made). Today (with mom’s help), I packed up five slightly smaller ones. I guess I haven’t acquired much at this place.
The last few days have been BUSY. The parents arrived yesterday. We ate dinner at the Black Sheep. Today I showed them (and some other random people) a slightly less exciting version of my Burn Book presentation.
Tomorrow is commencement! There will be parents and a picnic and matching dresses. There will also, apparently, be one of my dearest Northfield buddies! Wonderful.
Last night was the Div Free dance and this morning was a weird Families & Faculty brunch. That combination means I did not get much sleep last night. I feel too exhausted to be emotional or nostalgic right now. But somehow I imagine I’ll make my way to the Hampshire Tree later tonight anyway.
This comic is a bit incoherent, and so are the words I’m writing right now. Goodbyes are too complicated. Sleep and beer far less so.
PS 14 out of 16 pages of my Lutefisk Sushi mini are finished and scanned!

You’re sure right about those four years going by quickly. I’m glad I have been able to peek into your world via this incredibly cool blog. I love Hampshire. I love your art. I love you.

Thanks, Mom! I love you–and I think you’re a pretty cool mom for reading your kid’s webcomic.
Lizz, I miss and love you!
