College Diploma
Apologies: I dashed off this Rushed & Bitter comic for you guys so that I can get down to having a Long & Happy weekend for myself. I am selfish.
As for diplomas: I get that there are many benefits to education, and they can’t always be expressed in money and bullet points, blah blah blah. I just really like money and bullet points.
Anyway! Three More Things:
1) The Currier Parents leave for a week in New Hampshire on Tuesday.
2) Ian returns to North America on Wednesday.
3) Crazy Daze is Thursday!

I love the concept of dashing off some rushed & bitter stuff so that I get down with a long & happy weekend.

I think it’s more a thing to let linger in your parents’ house, either in the closet of a guest room or something equivalent to the bottom of a china cabinet. There it lingers until A.) you live in a place bigger than/ stop moving more than your parents (whereupon it is relegated to YOUR closet) or B.) you open a professional practice, where it goes on the wall. Avoid: moldy basements, conspicuous display in own residence, raging fires.
Also, while any amount of debt is undeniably scary and challenging, the cool thing about an amount like $7000 is that it’s just enough to bitch about, but small enough to actually see that the money you pay toward it shrinks the amount. Granted, maybe that makes the debt more real and concrete to you…too much to ponder right now.

Thanks for the link to one of my favorite comics. I forgot about the lesbo comment. When Anne and I were up North with Robert, he kept making cracks about us being lesbians. We gave it right back.

Dad: That’s how it goes!
Goldfeather: You missed ‘em both! Crazy Daze was real rainy, though.
Mom: you and dad were adorable on Christmas. I’m glad you gave Uncle Robert shit.
Doyle: Oh MAN, I bet you could design a boardgame onto that stupid square diploma and its Hampshire tree.
