Burn Book is the comics magazine Athena made for her senior project at Hampshire College. She received a grant from Hampshire’s DART program to help cover the cost of the first print run. DART also produced a short video about Burn Book. Athena displayed pages from Burn Book in a DART gallery show, and did a 40-minute musical performance about the project. The Slut issue of Burn Book was reviewed at Comic Book Resources. Oh, and one of Athena’s old burlesque buddies created a Burn Book dress-up doll.

What to say about the minis? The (Old) Woman Question was made in September 2008. It has been reviewed on Panel Patter. Minnipeg was made in July 2009, about a family trip to the Winnipeg Folk Festival. It is available in its entirety online. The Grass is Greener in Grinnell was made in May 2010 for Lutefisk Sushi. Original art from the minicomic was displayed in the LSD release show at Altered Esthetics. People Against Dan was made in September 2010. It has been reviewed on Comic Book Resources.
